What's real in this demo, and what's roadmap
Real today: the object detector (EfficientDet-Lite, running on-device via WebAssembly), the dominant-color sampling, the shot-change flags (from actual pixel-difference measurements), and the catalog copy (written by Claude from the sampled frames and detections — nothing templated).
Roadmap: at production scale, per-frame inference moves from your browser to NVIDIA GPU instances (e.g. L4/T4) for full-resolution, every-frame analysis and embedding-based search across an entire catalog — this demo intentionally runs light, on-device inference so you can try it instantly with no account and no video upload.
